Peace Bombs land near you! - March 22, 2008
I wanted to mention the new group of musicians that I am lucky enough to be playing with lately. Mark Romans ( drums, percussion), and Bill Lanham ( Bass-vocals) are a really powerful rythmn section that used to play for local LB band 12 Hour Mary. My old band Room to Roam and 12 Hour used to play together, and that's how we know each other. Mark and Bill play in a Zepplin cover band ( Spirit of Zepplin), Romans knows Bonham's style intimately, which is right up my alley. Lanham has an amazing ability to hear a melody, and then simply play it on bass. Great ear.
We're playing and writing new tunes, ones you can shake your hips to. People are starting to dance at our shows, we fully encourage it. Recently, we've been playing all around So Cal.regularly, in Orange County, Long Beach, and Los Angeles, making new friends, and having a good time. We're working out the kinks with some new songs, and plan on getting in the studio to record them spring 2008. Look for some of those recordings to be posted for you to hear on this site.
